JURASSIC PARK

Yesterday I made a small book. We had to fold intensely straight on the spotted line. My book is about Jurassic Park. Here is a photo. Have you made a book?

RED Donut

For the last 3 or 4 weeks we have been going into the clock bay to make donuts out of felt, thread and cotton. We did the donuts with super Gran for art.

First we chose what colour we wanted for the icing and cut it out and added sprinkles. I chose red. Was it easy and tricky to cut out and add sprinkles? Yes it was, surprisingly.

Second we stitched the icing to the top half of the donut and stitched the bottom of the donut to the top. We left a gap for the stuffing.

Finally we stuffed the donut up and sewed the rest of the donut up.

When I felt like I was in a whole new world. Have you ever made a donut? Here is a photo.

Cool Duffy

Today we got some more Duffy books , thanks to Avonhead Rotary! My books were Wild Survival and Mrs Chippy The Cat. I felt disappointed because I didn’t remember what books I put. I could share them with someone though. What is your favourite book?

RE Joseph And His Amazing Coat

This term we have been learning stories from the bible. What an amazing story.
Joseph and his rainbow coat.
This story is about a father and his 12 sons. One of the sons Joseph was the father’s favourite so he gave Joseph a rainbow coat. 8 of the brothers hated him. He got thrown in a pit. He was saved and sold. Joseph told the king his dream and became ruler. I did the writing well. Next time I shod colour it. Do you like my comic?
